Our Motto – “Domine in te speravi – Lord, in you I have hoped” – stresses our trust in God and the responsibility for each one of us to be people of hope for the world.

The school has a maximum roll of 800 students.  Our dedicated staff are committed to the education of the whole student, and to teaching methods based on good educational research.  Staff care about their students – our school has a family atmosphere, and we provide a supportive environment, in which students can excel.  We also offer a wide range of artistic, cultural, sporting, career and service opportunities.

As a school, we provide our students with an outstanding all-round education.  This is reflected in both the contribution that our young women make within the community as well as our Scholarship and NCEA results.  Our students achieve well above the national average, with a high percentage gaining NCEA endorsements which recognise higher achievement, and University Entrance.

Above all our school is a joyful, dynamic place, where students feel safe and supported.  Christ is at the centre of all that we do.  Our ERO report highlighted this.  Strong expectations of behaviour, uniform, attendance and attitude mean that all students are able to learn and teachers are able to teach.  We are blessed with wonderful young women and committed, dedicated staff.
